According to the statement, Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base was selected as a target due to its critical role as a vital hub for U.S. aerial support and its significant contribution to American surveillance and air operations across the region.
The Iranian Army further noted that the sheer scale and intensity of the joint operations carried out by the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) have rendered the interception of Iranian drones and missiles exceedingly difficult and costly for the U.S., despite the deployment of its most advanced air defense systems.
The statement concluded that the enemy, facing substantial damage and casualties, has been compelled to impose severe censorship measures to suppress the dissemination of information regarding the extent of the inflicted losses.
