Tehran (IP) – Islamic countries stressed that global impact and irreparable economic and health damages which the virus has brought, requires global unity and solidarity to defeat and contain the disease.

Iran PressIran news: In the 7th Conference of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) organized by Mustafa (PBUH) Science and Technology Foundation on Thursday in Tehran, the Islamic countries addressed the Scientific and Technological Collaboration Facing Coronavirus Challenge.

During the conference held live via video conference Rassoul Dinarvand, chairman of the 7th Scientific and Technological Collaboration ّFacing coronavirus challenge, Jorge Chediek NNOSSE director and envoy of the secretary-general of South-South Cooperation, Jackie Ying Mustafa prize Laureate delivered speeches, discussing the global impact and irreparable economic and health problems the virus has brought and stressed global unity and solidarity to contain and defeat the disease.

The conference aimed at highlighting the importance of sharing worthy knowledge, experiences, and achievements amid the corona crisis,   as well as working to provide the best possible platform through a virtual on the Coronavirus and synergizing the capabilities of scientists and experts in the Islamic world to help solve the global crisis.

Singapore, Pakistan, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Japan, Malesia, China, and 12 more other Islamic countries attended the video conference to discuss the vaccination process, treatment methods and preventative equipment and measures to contain the virus and share the achieved experiences and what have been learned globally.
