Pakistan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Faisal

Pakistan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said that his country appreciates the stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and especially Iran's Leader for supporting the people of Kashmir.

Iran Press/Asia: " Pakistan thanks for the support of Iran's Leader about Kashmir issue, Pakistan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Faisal, said in a press conference on Thursday and added: 'He is a huge supporter for Kashmiri people and we appreciate for his comments about this regard".

The Leader of the Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei referred to the conflict between India and Pakistan and described it as a result of the actions taken by the evil British government.

Iran's Leader also urged India to observe fair policy in Kashmir.

Mohammed Faisal also expressed concern about US action to impose sanctions on Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, adding that Islamabad is opposed to unilateral sanctions by Washington and emphasizes the need for continued diplomacy to resolve issues.

India and Pakistan have fought several bitter wars over Kashmir, a mountainous, predominantly Muslim territory claimed by both countries.
