Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces will head a high-ranking military delegation to China this Wednesday.

Iran Press/Iran news: Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri visits China on September 11 and it will last for three days.

During the visit, Major General Bagheri will meet and hold talks with senior military and political figures of the East Asian country, Iran Press reported.

The key objective of the visit is said to be the promotion of defense diplomacy between the two countries.  

Recently, Mohammad Javad Zarif paid a visit to China and exchanged views on issues of  bilateral, regional and international importance with top-ranking Chines officials.

Far East Asia has become one of the most important political centers in recent years as economic development progresses.
