Iran Press/ Iran news: The commemoration takes place in every corner of Iran and other countries in the world and includes special and unique rituals such as setting fire to symbolic tents - that represent the tents of the camp of Imam Hussein (AS) which were burned by the enemies on that night in 61/680-, lighting candles, and reciting elegies (Rawdha Khani) in memory of the events that took place on Ashura.

Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) is the symbol of resistance against oppression. The choice made by Imam Hussein ( peace be upon him) and his small group of family members and companions (peace be upon them), has been a source of inspiration for not just Muslims but for all of humanity, throughout history.
