The spokesman of Yemeni Armed Forces, said that despite the process of Sweden’s 2nd Day of Consultations, US-Saudi mercenaries escalation has still continued.

Iran PressMiddle East: The spokesman of Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, said that during the past hours, the US-Saudi aggression launched 19 raids in conjunction with missiles and artillery shelling, creeps and reinforcements of mercenaries on a number of fronts, in the second day of consultations in Sweden.

The spokesman of Yemeni Armed Forces added that the army and Popular Committees encountered the creeps, causing the mercenaries heavy losses, killing and wounding dozens of them and destroying seven armors with bombs.

On Dec 05, a senior leader from Yemen's Houthi Ansarullah movement said his group hopes upcoming peace talks in Sweden will lead to an "inclusive political dialogue" that will end the war.

Yahya Sare'e also stressed that the escalations, reinforcements of the aggression and its mercenaries will fail.

Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries, has engaged in military aggression against Yemen and ground sieges, naval and air strikes since March 2015.

The war initiated by Saudi Arabia and its' allies in Yemen has killed more than 14,000 Yemeni people, injured tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.
