The Iranian Foreign Minister said that US move to blacklist Iran's IRGC as a terrorist organization was an ‘election-eve gift to Netanyahu’.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has blasted the US for labeling the IRGC as a terrorist organization, describing the move as a gift to Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of tomorrow’s Israeli elections.

According to Mehr News Agency, as Israeli Prime Minister praised Trump’s decision to label Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, Zarif posted on his Twitter account on Monday evening: '(another) misguided election-eve gift to Netanyahu, a dangerous US misadventure in the region.'

US President Donald Trump has labeled Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps as a terrorist organization on Monday 8 April 2019.

This is the first time that Washington has formally labeled another country's military a terrorist group, RT reported.

In response to Washington’s action, Iran designated all US troops in the region as terrorists on Monday.
