Iranian foreign minister has recommended President Rouhani to put US Central Command (US CENTCOM) on the list of organizations designated as terrorists by Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Minutes after the US administration’s statement, read out by the country's Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, declared Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a foreign terrorist organization, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote a letter to President Hassan Rouhani, who is the head of National Security Supreme Council, recommending him to designate the US Central Command (US CENTCOM), which is responsible for the troops in the Middle East, on Iran’s list of terrorist organizations.

Zarif's invoked ‘the law of dealing with human rights violations and US adventurous and terrorist acts in the region’, previously approved by the Iranian parliament, Iran Press reported.

US President Donald Trump has designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

This is the first time Washington formally labeled another country's military a terrorist group, RT reported.

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps has a key role in fighting the US-backed terrorist groups in the region.

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) is providing counselor assistance to fight the Takfiri-terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria with the official request of these countries, an action that is by no means appealing to the president of the United States, Donald Trump. 104/202
