Iranian president has asked Judiciary to sue US authorities for crime against humanity because of the sanctions they imposed against the nation.

Iran Press/Iran news: “We should resist to make the United States that it is going the wrong direction,” said Hassan Rouhani speaking at the session of Administrative Council of Bushehr Province on Sunday evening, stressing that “The judiciary should sue US authorities and the architects of sanctions for crimes against humanity.”

Rouhani added: "Wherever we see a problem, it is because of the United States and the Zionists, he said, adding, “I wonder how the enemies could penetrate some people’s minds,” Iran Press reported.

Referring to the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Rouhani said, “Of course, except for a couple of countries, the entire world denounced this move by the US, acknowledging our cooperation with the Security Council and the United Nations.”

“Americans keep saying that they have been tricked into the nuclear deal, but this is wrong and both sides enjoyed the benefits of the deal, and nobody was tricked,” he said.

President Rouhani went on to mention the new sanctions of the United States against Iran, saying, “Today, a superpower named the United States, Zionism and reactionaries in the region have joined hands against Iran, creating problems for Iran.”

Stating that involving in a war is not possible without getting killed or injured, he said, “We will stand strong in these conditions until Americans understand that they have taken the wrong path, and they have to know that they should respect the great Iranian nation.” 101/202/213
