Iran's new judiciary chief said that he is committed to eliminate corruption in his country.

Iran Press/Iran news: In his introduction ceremony in Tehran on Monday, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's anti-corruption decree is a platform to combat corruption and the Judiciary is determined to root out corruption.

According to Iran Press, the introduction ceremony of Iran's new judiciary chief was held in Ministry of Justice Building on Monday morning.

Anti-Corruption Taskforce was established in 2005 by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, who also directed the three branches of government to establish individual committees to work toward ending corruption.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has appointed veteran judicial official, Hojjatoleslam Ebrahim Raeisi, as new head of Iran’s Judiciary.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the appointment on Thursday through an official decree, naming Raeisi to replace Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, who served in the position for nine years. 101
