Iran's Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare said on Monday that despite problems and hurdles, Iran is doing great job in entrepreneurial areas.

Iran news/  In an  exclusive interview with Iran press, Mohammad Shariatmadari added that in spite of existing problems in the fields of production and entrepreneurship, Iran is in a developed and a better condition in entrepreneurial areas.

The top Iranian official went on to refer to the Global Entrepreneurship Index 2018, known as (2018 GEI) which shows that Iran saw overall score improvements of more than four points among many MENA countries over the previous GEI, and is among the top ten biggest gains in score globally for the 2018 GEI.

Sahriatmadari also stressed that Iran's latest achievements in the 2018 GEI shows once again that despite all problems and obstacles, Iran is doing great job regarding entrepreneurship.

However, the Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare emphasized the necessity of passing new rules to provide Iran with suitable entrepreneurial infrastructure so that grounds would be paved for small businesses which in turn would lead to more job  opportunities in the country.

Shariatmadari's remarks came on the occasion of  the  occasion of  the Global  entrepreneurship held in Iran.
