The Islamic republic of Iran's army has issued a statement declaring 4 November as the symbol of the Iranian nation's glory, resistance, steadfastness against the enemy, resilience and also symbolizing defeat and humiliation for the Islamic Republic's enemies.

Iran Press / Iran news: According to an Iran Press report, the Iranian army issued a statement on Saturday saying: "Today on the anniversary of 4 November (13 Aban) which has been designated as 'the national day of fighting global arrogance', the criminal US regime is using sanctions as a way of forcing Iran to bow to its' demands, but the Iranian nation will never bow to the US and will emerge with flying colours from this conspiracy."

The statement added: "The vigilant Iranian nation, united and with one voice, under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, will once again repeat history, by defeating the arrogant powers of our time once again."

The statement goes on to refer to the setting up of a production line and manufacture on an industrial scale, of Iran's first fighter jet -- Kowthar. The statement declares the Iranian army's readiness to take on the arrogant powers, and to defend the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolution.

Tomorrow, Sunday 4 November (13 Aban) is 'the national day of fighting global arrogance' in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Exactly 39 years ago on this day, 4 November 1979, Iranian university students took over the US embassy or 'den of espionage' in Tehran, in protest at numerous US plots and conspiracies against the Islamic revolution in its early days.
