A member of the Iranian parliament's national security and foreign policy commission, Alaeddine Boroujerdi , has strongly defended recent remarks by president Rouhani, arguing that Rouhani's remarks about Iran's oil exports were a slap in the face for the Americans, showing that Iran will stand up to Trump's bullying.

According to an Iran Press report, Boroujerdi emphasized that president Rouhani's comments promoted unity and solidarity within Iran, and his use of revolutionary language was particularly welcome and appropriate.

President Hassan Rouhani said last Wednesday in Vienna, that JCPOA is a very important agreement for Iran, EU and the world.

He said, "What United States did was against the law, UNSC resolutions and multilateral obligations, and without a doubt, this will be to the US and others' detriment".

Meanwhile, President Hassan Rouhani attended a joint press conference with Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz on last Wednesday and said: “JCPOA is a successful  achievement for all countries around the world, which of course was achieved after a long period of negotiations. Today, we told the Austrian side clearly that Iran staying in the deal continues until it can benefit its interests,”

Alaeddine Boroujerdi stressed that we mustn't allow the Americans to dictate to us their illogical policies, or to bully us into submission.

The member of the Iranian parliament's national security and foreign policy commission also stressed that the islamic republic is committed to achieving its objectives and ideals , and no amount of threat from the arrogant powers (and United States ) can deflect the Iranian people or the islamic establishment from achieving its aims and objectives.

Boroujerdi also alluded to the fact that many senior officials and top military commanders, such as the head of the IRGC Quds Force, general Qasem Soleimani, have declared their full backing for President Rouhani, and his recent comments against Trump administration's lawlessness and bullying.
