The Hajj pilgrimage is reaching its zenith, with the pilgrims having spent a day and night in the plain of Arafat, in prayer and supplication, now moving to the plain of Mena near Mecca for the fulfilling of this year's Hajj ceremony.

Iran Press/Middle East: Saturday evening was the end of the first religious stay of Hajis in Arafat and from this evening onwards, more than two million pilgrims begin to move to the Mashar al-Haram, an area between Arafat and Mina.

This is the place where prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) took his son Ismael (PBUH) to slaughter for God and threw stones at the devil every time he was deceived by him, Iran Press reported.

The God sent a sheep to prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) to slaughter, and he sacrificed the sheep; This is why it is called Feast of Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha).

Reaching to this area called 'Jamra', Hajis throw seven stones to the symbol of devil.

After 'Devil Stoning' (Rami al-Jamarat) and after making sure that they slaughtered a sheep, they cut some of their hair.

Hajis stay 3 days in Mina.

Tuesday morning is the last step of Devil Stoning and this time Hajis stoning three devil symbols and in facts, it is the last stage of the pilgrimage (Hajj ritual).

At noon, leaving this mysterious desert for Mecca begins for Hajis. 213/211/208
