Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at a news conference on Friday 7 March, the spokesman Kianoosh Jahanpour said there are 1,076 new cases of coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours across the country, as verified by our laboratories, increasing the total number to 5,823 cases.
The spokesman also said 1,669 patients have recovered due to the kindful efforts by medical staff which is a piece of great, joyful news. He added we hope this pace of recovering patients would continue.
He added Tehran province with 1539 cases, Qom with 668, and Mazandaran with 606 form the largest number of coronavirus patients in recent days.
Jahanpour said that 21 infected people to Coronavirus passed away in the past 24 hours and increased the fatalities to 145 people in total.
