Iranian parliamentary delegation heads towards Kazakhstan

Speaker of Iran's Parliament, Ali Larijani, heading a high-ranking delegation is due to attend the fourth Eurasia meeting in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan.

Iran Press/Iran news: Larijani at the head of a parliamentary delegation will leave Tehran tomorrow (Sunday) to attend the meeting which will be held on Tuesday 24 September 2019.

In addition to attending the meeting, Larijani will meet with his counterparts from various Asian and European countries, Iran Press reported.

The meeting in Nur-Sultan is titled: 'Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership'.

Strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue and effective cooperation between Eurasian countries and establishing a multilateral and direct interaction between Eurasian parliamentarians is one of the most important goals of the Eurasia meeting.

At the Nursultan meeting, MPs from this union exchange views and discuss the latest with regards to achieving sustainable development in this region. The first meeting of Speakers of the Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments was held in Russia, the second and the third in South Korea and Turkey respectively. 101/211/219
