Tehran (IP) - Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) has said the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is fully aware of the reasons why Iran has reduced its nuclear commitments.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Saturday Behrouz Kamalvandi said: "The IAEA has its own obligations and duties, and the agency just reports the realities on the ground and does not judge anything."

Kamalvandi added: "The measures which they have been mentioned in the text of the deal and they go through these measures to see what Iran should do and we have so far committed fully [to the JCPOA] and we have done our obligations."

The AEOI spokesman went on to stress: "If we have reduced some of our obligations, it is because there should be a balance between rights and duties of us and we have informed everybody including the IAEA and the agency is very much aware of that."

"They know that it is part of reality and has been reflected in their reports and we think that they will continue to reflect it in their future reports as well", he added. 101/211
