Zarif returns home from Indonesia

Finishing his trips to Bangladesh and Indonesia, Iran's Foreign Minster returned to Tehran on Saturday morning.

Iran Press/Iran newsMohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, on Tuesday night, heading a political delegation.

On Wednesday, Zarif separately met with the Bangladeshi prime minister and foreign minister, discussing bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues, Iran Press reported.

Meeting with scholars and Persian Language professors were on Zarif's agenda.  

On Thursday morning also the Iranian foreign minister took part in the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) and delivered a speech.  

On his tour, Mohammad Javad Zarif left Dhaka on Thursday night for Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

He held talks with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi on the way of expanding bilateral relations.  

On his itinerary and along with the active diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif has had trips since August 11 to Qatar, Kuwait, Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, China, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Bangladesh, and Indonesia.
