Tehran (IP) - The head of foreign affairs committee of National Security and Foreign Policy of Iran's Parliament said the country has acted rationally and wisely about the United States withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday, Kamal Dehghani Firouzabadi said that: "Iran's parliament would not accept and approve any coming proposal about JCPOA easily, the proposal must first guarantee that all signatories will commit to JCPOA and second, Iran's interests must be met totally in the frame of Iran's nuclear deal."

He went on to add that in response to US withdrawal of the International nuclear deal and Europe's commitment-breaching, the Islamic Republic of Iran has acted wisely and logically.

"The Foreign Ministry will carry its diplomatic affairs regarding the nuclear deal commitment. But Iran's parliament aims to provide the country's national interests," Dehghani Firouzabadi added.

The head of foreign affairs committee of National Security and Foreign Policy of Iran's Parliament emphasized that: "Any taken action to reduce the tension is beneficial for G7 and is also beneficial for the countries who have signed a multilateral agreement with Iran like JCPOA but have not committed to their commitments yet."

He continued that committing commitments are based on international rules and those breaching them deface their prestige.

"I suppose Europe does not intend to play the US game as long as it has its own independence, we expect Europe not to sacrifice its long term interest to US's short term interest in the Persian Gulf," He stressed out.
