Beirut (IP) - The Head of the Islamic Republic of Broadcasting Organization (IRIB) met with Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah in Beirut and discussed the missions of the resistance axis in the field of media and political challenges in confronting the Israeli regime.

According to Iran Press on Sunday, "Peyman Jebelli", Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), met with "Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah", the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and discussed the missions of the resistance axis in the field of media and political challenges in confronting the Israeli regime.

The IRIB Chief has traveled to Beirut in a bid to consult on media interaction to explain the achievements of the resistance axis.

On Thursday night upon his arrival at Beirut International Airport, Jebelli emphasized that during the era of victories of the resistance axis, the media connection requires the interaction and synergy of all the countries of the resistance axis.

Jebelli also pointed to the good, timely, and fast coverage of regional events in various national media Channels, including the IRIB World Service channels, and added: "IRIB has a brilliant track record in the countries of the axis of resistance, especially in critical times, including the liberation of southern Lebanon in 2000 and also in the victory of the 33-day war in Lebanon has been very effective."

Lebanon has been chosen by the Arab League as the media capital of the Arab world in 2023.
