Caracas (IP) - Bolivia's President Luis Arce arrived here on Thursday to sign bilateral cooperation agreements with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro.

Iran PressAmerica: New cooperation agreements will be signed during Arce's visit, within the framework of the Third Venezuela-Bolivia Joint Integration Commission, Venezuela's Foreign Minister Yvan Gil said on social media.

Before leaving for Caracas, Arce tweeted that his trip will serve to consolidate "important mutual cooperation agreements for the benefit of both people."

Bolivia's Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Freddy Mamani said Wednesday that the two countries will work on a 2023-2028 Strategic Plan for bilateral cooperation.

According to Venezuela's Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Latin America, Rander Pena, the bilateral agreements cover a range of areas such as trade, culture, energy, health and academic exchanges.
