Iran Press/ Iran news: The relations between Iran and Venezuela have a history of more than a hundred years and developed with cooperation in the field of oil.
After the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1979, Venezuela was one of the first countries to recognize the new Iranian government.
Currently, both countries are under the unilateral sanctions of the United States, and in issues such as the defense of multilateralism, the need to confront the illegal and unilateral actions of the United States, recognition of Iran's right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and the recognition of rights of The Palestinians have a shared vision.
In this regard, and according to the Iran Press news agency, in line with the policies of President Raisi's government and emphasizing the necessity of developing the export of Iranian goods in the world markets, a ship containing the export cargo of Iranian manufacturers left for Venezuela on Friday.
According to the forecasts made by the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line Group, the next ship containing Iran's export cargoes is scheduled to be sent to Venezuela in February of this year (2023) if the predicted capacities are completed.
Also, in several correspondences with the competent authorities and chambers of commerce, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line Group has voiced readiness to establish a regular line for exporting cargo to Venezuela. If Iranian traders and exporters welcome it, the possibility of establishing this regular line is available, and the fleet of National Shipping will not have any restrictions in this field.
