Beirut (IP) - The Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement says the Palestinian Nakba, its incidents, its pain, its calamities have not been over, and its wounds have not been healed.

Iran PressMiddle East: Speaking on Friday on the occasion of the 6th martyrdom anniversary of the great Jihadi leader Hajj Mustafa Badreddine (Sayyed Thulfiqar), Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said: "The Nakba of Palestine on May 15, 1948 was not only a catastrophe for the Palestinian people, but for all Arabs and the peoples of the region. This region and its people continue to suffer from the results of the Nakba today."

"The Arab and Islamic countries were expected to liberate Palestine. Then the Arab world faced the Naksa which led to the loss of Quds, the West Bank, Sinai, the Golan Heights, the Shebaa Farms, and Kfar Shuba hills, which caused a state of devastation," Nasrallah added.

"The message here is that the Palestinians are no longer waiting for Arab regimes, the Arab League, or an Islamic council. Today, the Palestinians are present in the fields, and I think that in the past 20-30 years, their faith in the Resistance has increased," stressed Nasrallah.

"When Lebanon was under attack, the Lebanese state tended to the worst choice that was negotiating the enemy from the position of weakness and surrendering," he added.

Lebanon's Hezbollah Movement calls on the country's authorities to pursue self-sufficiency in supplying the oil and gas from the maritime zone in South Lebanon.

Nasrallah urged the beginning of the process of extracting gas and oil in the maritime zone in South Lebanon.

Nasrallah stressed: "Extracting oil is the main gate to hope and to end our crisis instead of begging for the World Bank’s loans."

According to experts, he said, some countries that normalized ties with ‘Israel’ were on the brink of economic collapse, one of which started selling its assets.

Elsewhere in his speech, Nasrallah pointed to the Israeli espionage and uncovered that the resistance contributed to discovering and dismantling many ‘Israeli’ spying networks in cooperation with the Lebanese security apparatuses.

He noted that the Lebanese security apparatuses were determined to dismantle those spying networks, calling on all leaders to support the endeavor.

"In light of the capabilities of the resistance, the Israeli regime needs many spies and has already started recruiting people in an imperfect and unprofessional manner," Hezbollah secretary- general said.

There again, Nasrallah called on Lebanon’s Military Judiciary to issue harsh and deterrent rulings against the spies of the ‘Israeli’ entity.
