Gaza (IP)- Normalization of relations between some Arab countries and the Israeli regime is a threat to Palestine, A spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement said.

Iran PressMiddle East: Davood Shahab, the spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, said that the normalization of relations between some Arab countries in the Persian Gulf and the Israeli enemy threatens the Palestinian cause and all Arabs and Muslims.

Earlier, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told the Atlantic magazine: "Saudi Arabia does not look at Israel as an enemy, but as a 'potential ally'."

This position of the Saudi Crown Prince has angered Palestinian parties and groups.

Various Palestinian groups have condemned the normalization of Arab relations with the Israeli regime, calling it a dagger in the heart of the Palestinian cause.

In an interview with Iran Press in Gaza, Davood Shahab, spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, called the normalization a betrayal of Palestine and the Arab and Islamic Ummah.

The spokesman stressed normalization of the relations between Arab relations and the regime was unacceptable, adding that the Israelis' presence in the Palestinian territories was illegitimate.
