The Iranian delegation was briefed on Pakistan's electoral system, election reforms, and the functioning of the Election Commission.
During the meeting, Pakistan offered cooperation to Iran in electoral training and capacity building.
The Chief Election Commissioner also invited Iranian officials to benefit from the Election Commission's Training Academy.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation between their electoral institutions through the exchange of expertise and best practices.
Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for their continued support and extended an invitation to the Chief Election Commissioner to visit Iran.
