TEHRAN – Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has responded to a pledge-of-allegiance letter sent by the "faithful and courageous fighters of the victorious Hezbollah," praising their steadfastness and reaffirming Iran's continued support for the Resistance.

In a written message addressed to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Leader commended the group's commanders and fighters for their perseverance and sacrifice, saying their letter reflected firm faith, endurance and commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Resistance.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the path of "jihad and resistance" remains the only way to confront as the oppression of the United States and Israel, expressing confidence that perseverance would ultimately lead to victory.

He also praised Hezbollah's role in confronting Israel, describing the Lebanese movement as the leading force of the Resistance and saying its resilience had become an inspiration for nations seeking liberation from oppression. He credited the Lebanese people, particularly those in southern Lebanon, for their patience, sacrifice and support during the conflict.

Reaffirming Iran's position, the Leader said the Islamic Republic considers defending Hezbollah and preserving Lebanon's territorial integrity a strategic responsibility, adding that the unconditional end of Israeli military operations remains a prerequisite for any agreement aimed at ending the conflict.

Ayatollah Khamenei also paid tribute to Hezbollah's late Secretary-General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, other martyred commanders of the Resistance, and those martyred or wounded during the conflict, while expressing hope that divine support would continue to accompany the Resistance, its fighters, veterans and displaced families.

The message concluded with prayers for God's mercy and blessings upon Hezbollah's leadership and members.
