Reverend Buru further stated that as followers of Christianity, they oppose all forms of war, violence, and oppression anywhere in the world, regardless of the religion or identity of those responsible.
According to information obtained from credible sources, the U.S. and Israeli embassies are allegedly spending substantial sums on campaigns to influence Nigerian Christian communities by framing the conflict as a battle between Islam and Christianity.
Addressing Christian followers directly, Reverend Buru said: "If you look at it from a Christian perspective, the Bible is very explicit on this matter. Any student of the Bible should know the truth. The Middle East has been a focal point of conflict for many years."
He emphasized that the public must recognize that Israel is not a Christian nation but rather identifies itself as a Jewish state. He added that Zionists are themselves responsible for the persecution of Christians, and that some individuals deliberately distort the facts to advance their own agendas.
"Let me make this clearer," he continued. "Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all monotheistic Abrahamic faiths. None of these religions endorses oppression or injustice. What the United States is doing is therefore driven by its own selfish interests."
In response to a question from an Iran Press correspondent regarding the recent discovery of additional bodies of Iranian schoolchildren killed by U.S. strikes in Minab, Reverend Buru stated:
"As I said earlier, whenever incidents like this occur, we must set aside religious differences. The most important principle guiding our thinking and reasoning should be our shared humanity. Humanity comes before religion. We do not condone what the U.S. did in Minab, and we do not support war. Anything that constitutes a breach of peace, the destruction of lives, or any act of violence is something we are one hundred percent against. We do not support it, and we do not endorse it. We pray that God grants mercy to those who were killed and bestows strength and comfort upon their families."
