Iran Press - Islamabad: Accompanied by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, the Iranian minister was received at the national landmark, where a smartly turned-out contingent of the Federal Constabulary presented a guard of honour.
During the visit, Minister Momeni laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs' Memorial and offered Fateha, paying tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan's martyrs.
The Iranian Interior Minister also toured the Pakistan Monument, where he was briefed on its historical significance and the importance of the Martyrs' Memorial. He appreciated the monument's national and historical value.
From the Shakarparian viewpoint, Minister Momeni viewed Islamabad city and the scenic Margalla Hills.
Inspector General Federal Constabulary Riaz Nazir Gara, the Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad Police, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
