Speaking at the High Council of the Judiciary in a meeting attended by President Masoud Pezeshkian, Mohseni-Ejei emphasized that commitment to the law is the foundation of justice and security, particularly under special wartime conditions. He noted that in times of war, certain issues require immediate action, making it logical to delegate authority to executives to ensure operations are carried out without delay, provided that comprehensive oversight is maintained to prevent mistakes.
The Judiciary chief strongly warned against any attempts to disrupt national unity, highlighting that both the late Imam Khomeini and the Leader have consistently emphasized this "sacred unity." He cautioned the public and officials to remain highly vigilant against infiltrators, hypocrites, and rumor-mongers who disguise themselves as insiders to spread baseless claims, create division, or distract the nation from primary issues.
Turning to domestic affairs, Mohseni-Ejei commended President Pezeshkian as a sincere individual who has dedicated himself to the interests of Islam and Iran. He lauded the President's firm belief that the Leader's word is final, particularly regarding support for the Armed Forces, stating that the Judiciary will offer maximum assistance to the government.
Concluding his remarks, the top judge echoed the public's demand for justice and vengeance against the "treacherous U.S. enemy," making it clear that Iran will not yield or trust Washington under any circumstances. Furthermore, while stressing the need to continue the jihad against the enemy, he highlighted the parallel duty of officials to seriously address the economic livelihood and resilience of the people who are bravely standing in the streets.
