Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 34 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,736.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 04, 2022, a total number of 6,200,296 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,044,247 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,706 cases, of whom 358 patients were hospitalized.

2,471 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 42,382,230 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 59,958,950 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 52,260,276 have received the second dose, 8,752,018 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 120,971,224 doses.
