Iran Press/ Asia: Maj Gen Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, met with Lt Gen Nadeem Raza, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) of Pakistan, on Wednesday in his second working meeting.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking Iranian-Pakistani military delegations, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, and Colonel Mostafa Ghanbarpour, Iran's military attaché in Pakistan.
The two sides discussed a wide range of bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan in the fields of defense, security, military, border, regional developments, including the situation in Afghanistan.
The two sides stressed the serious desire and determination to strengthen these relations and expand bilateral cooperation between the armed forces of Iran and Pakistan.

Earlier, members of the high-ranking Iranian military delegation headed by Maj Gen Bagheri met with General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan, this morning at the Pakistan Army Headquarters.
Major General Bagheri and his accompanying delegation are scheduled to meet the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, this evening.
Heading a high-ranking military delegation, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Bagheri, arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday evening to expand cooperation with Pakistan and was welcomed by Lt Gen Saqib Mehmood Malik, chief of logistics staff of Pakistan Army, and the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan.
