Bushehr (IP) - September 3, the anniversary of the martyrdom of Rais-Ali Delvari, the commander of the British anti-colonial movement, has been registered in the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the National Day Against British Colonialism.

Iran Press/Iran news: Rais-Ali Delwari was a freedom-loving and leader of the southern uprising in Tangestan, Bushehr province, against British aggression and colonialism during World War I. 

Rais-Ali Delvari was martyred in 1915 at 33 in a clash with British invading forces in Bushehr. 

Rais-Ali Delvari's house is located in the southeast of Delvar city in Bushehr province, a relic of the Qajar period, and has now been turned into a museum.

 

About 94 pieces of historical documents and military equipment related to the epic era of the people of Bushehr province have been displayed in the museum of this brave commander.
