Iran wins its 8th gold medal at Tokyo Paralympics

Tokyo (IP) – Iranian javelin thrower snatched the eighth gold medal for Iran in the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Iran press/ Asia: Iranian javelin thrower Saeed Afrooz won the gold medal in the F34 class with a throw of 40.05 meters at the Tokyo Paralympic Games on Wednesday.

Two athletes from Colombia also won silver and bronze medals.

Right now, the Iranian squad is ranked 12th in Tokyo Paralympic Games with 8 gold, 6 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
