Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that COVID-19 had taken 581 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 106,482.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 29, 2021, 4,926,964 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,146,742 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 31,516 cases, out of whom 3,414 patients were hospitalized.

7,877 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 28,668,156 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 18,261,245 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 7,914,881 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 26,176,126 doses.
