Iran logs 614 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had taken 614 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 105,901.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 28, 2021, 4,895,448 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,117,098 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 26,034 cases, out of whom 4,002 patients were hospitalized.

7,845 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 28,556,919 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 18,045,088 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 7,563,414 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 25,608,502 doses.
