Iran scores 571 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that COVID-19 had taken 571 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 105,287.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 26, 2021, a total number of 4,869,414 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,084,991 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 36,279 cases, out of whom 4,799 patients were hospitalized.

7,817 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 28,438,161 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 17,866,473 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 7,248,918 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 25,115,401 doses.
