Barzoo concrete dam is one of the attractions of Shirvan city, with a crown length of 325 meters and a height of 83 meters, located 40 kilometers north of the city.

Shirvan is located in the Atrak River valley between the Kopeh Dagh mountain range in the north and Aladagh in the south. Moreover, Turkmenistan borders it to the north, Farooj city to the east, Esfarayen city to the south, and Bojnourd city to the west.
