Iran Press/Iran News: During the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus meeting on Saturday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said one the main approach to counter the COVID-19 disease is that people change the life-style during the corona pandemic.
Iranian President further stated that it is a lie to say that the government did not tell the truth to the people regarding the coronavirus because of the elections.
He added: From the first day we found out that the virus has entered the country, we in the cabinet session decided to inform people that some have been infected.
"Fortunately, the people were informed that the coronavirus had entered the country. It is a lie to say that the government did not tell the truth to the people because of the elections," President Said.
"Iran was the only country that had sanctions in Corona days, and no other country in the world has had such a situation. We had a lot of problems buying the Corona vaccine and paying for the purchased COVAX," President Rouhani added.
Rouhani also said: "We should change our lifestyle based on the new conditions, observe the health protocols, and reduce gatherings. If we see a symptom of the virus, we should quarantine ourselves so that we can get through the situation well."
