Tehran (IP)- The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of Iran announced the resumption of the Hajj Umrah of Iranian pilgrims is subjected to the acceptance of the conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran by Saudi Arabia.

Iran PressIran News: Ali Reza Rashidian, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of Iran, told reporters on Friday night about the resumption of Umrah by Saudi Arabia.

Rashidian added that according to a decision taken by Saudi Arabia, the number of pilgrims for Umrah this year is estimated at 1.5 million.

Referring to Iran's conditions for the resumption of Umrah, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of Iran said: Until the fulfillment of these conditions, the Umrah project will not take place.

Saudi Arabia suspended international flights and closed its borders to foreign pilgrims, and suspended Umrah simultaneously as the Corona epidemic.
