Iran coronavirus recovered patients surpass 321K

Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said on Sunday that fortunately, 321,421 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and discharged from hospitals so far.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Sunday, August 30, that the total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country has reached 373,570. 

Sima Sadat Lari added, with 103 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached 21,462. 

She also said 1,754 new cases were diagnosed since yesterday, 718 of whom were hospitalized.

Iranian Health official also stated that the number of those who have so far recovered from the viral infection stands at 321,421.

According to the spokeswoman, 3,759 patients are in critical condition. 

The spokeswoman also added that 3,207,269 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far. 

Lari said according to the latest corona information in the country, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Gilan, Qom, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Yazd, Zanjan and Qazvin are in the red situation.

Also, the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Alborz, Fars, Lorestan, Hormozgan, Ardabil, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, South Khorasan, Markazi, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Golestan and Khuzestan are on alert, she concluded.
