Facebook shuts down IranPress page

The American company, Facebook has shut down the IranPress Facebook page as part of its censorship policy on social networking on the Internet, Instagram has also meddled in IranPress page content.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Iran Press page on Facebook was one of the most powerful social media accounts of the agency, which had a large following.

All content uploaded to the page comprised of productions of IranPress news agency.

Iran Press is making every effort to bring the page back, but Facebook officials have falsely claimed that Iran Press violated the content laws of the network.

It should be noted that Instagram also edits or deletes IranPress posts and storylines without any warning.

This has happened after the full coverage of the recent events related to Martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.

The top General, Soleimani, was invited to Baghdad by Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi to discuss Iran-Saudi Arabia relations but was martyred in a US airstrike immediately after his arrival at Baghdad International Airport.   101/211/219
