A huge blast at a wedding ceremony in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province leaves seven people dead, and dozens more injured.

Iran Press/Asia: A suicide bombing at a wedding ceremony in the eastern province of Nangarhar left at least 7 people dead and more than 40 others wounded.

The provincial governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani, says the suicide bombing at the wedding ceremony was carried out by a child, Afghan Tolo News reported.

The blast happened at early hours of Friday morning in Pachir Aw Agam district of Nangarhar when the guests were gradually gathering to celebrate the wedding ceremony, Khogyani said.

He said that the death toll may rise.
