Masjed Soleiman (IP) - The acting governor of Masjed Soleiman in southwestern Khouzestan Province said people in earthquake-hit areas are receiving proper services and medical care.

Iran Press/Iran news: "All the emergency services are on a state of alert and the people in earthquake-hit areas are receiving proper services,” the acting governor of Masjed Soleiman, Heydar HojjatiNia told Iran press reporter that  all of the mosques and sport complexes are ready to accommodate the people.

He mentioned the casualties saying one person died of a shock and 50 others were injured in the city.

“Only 2 people from those injured have been taken to hospital and the rest received medical treatment without being admitted to hospital,” added HojjatiNia.

Meanwhile, the number of those injured in the earthquake has risen to 67 in all parts of Khouzestan Province, Director of Crisis Management Headquarters of Khouzestan province Kiumars Hajizadeh said.
