Iranian President heading to Armenia on Monday

Iranian President will depart to Armenia on Monday to attend the Eurasian Economic Union Summit.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Head of Presidential office for Communications and Information Parviz Esmaeili said on Sunday that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will travel to Yerevan to attend the Eurasian Economic Union Summit which is going to be held on Tuesday.

Esmaeili went on to say that President Rouhani will also hold bilateral meetings with the prime minister and senior Armenian officials on key issues of interests in Tehran-Yerevan relations and the latest status of implementation of the agreements and joint projects, in addition to addressing Iran's wide-range capabilities to trade with the Eurasian Economic Union.

The official highlighted that President Rouhani will also hold separate meetings with some of the leaders on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union summit, during which he will discuss the most important issues of mutual interest and regional and international issues.

Eurasian Economic Union is an economic union created in 2014.
