The procession followed ten days of mourning ceremonies held by Muslim communities across the country.
Dressed in black, mourners marched peacefully through designated streets, carrying flags associated with Imam Hussain (A.S.) and reciting elegies and prayers.
Speaking to Iran Press, Ghana’s Shia Imam, Sheikh Abubakar Kamaludeen, highlighted the values of sacrifice, justice, and resistance against oppression, saying the message of Karbala continues to inspire Muslims around the world.
