Palestinian resistance forces downed an Israeli drone over Gaza's airspace.

Iran Press/Middle East: The drone was downed and captured by the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigade, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

This is the third unmanned aerial vehicle the Israeli army has lost in less than one week, Iran Press reported citing Al-Mayadeen television channel.

Gaza has been under an Israeli siege since June 2007, which has caused great hardship for the Palestinian population, including massive unemployment and a decline in living standards.

Israel has also launched three major wars against the enclave since 2008, killing thousands of Gazans each time and shattering the impoverished territory’s already poor infrastructure.
