The 17th Zimbabwe International Women Film Festival will be held in September with the participation of seven Iranian films.

According to Islamic Cultural Relations Organization, seven Iranian feature, short and documentary films will be screened in the Zimbabwean film festival.

The films up for screening are: ‘Salto’ directed by Maryam Haddadi, ‘Leprosy’ by Ali Mohammad Eqbaldar, ‘Doll House’ by Reza Golchin, ‘Online Purchase’ by Qasideh Golmakani, ‘Blindness’ by Navid Nikkhah-Azad, “With Me’ by Morteza Qeidi and ‘Endless?’ by Maryam Zahiri-Mehr.

The 17th Zimbabwe International Women Film Festival will be held in Harare from September 3-10. 

This is the first time Iran is participating in the event with such a number of entries.

Last year, Iranian films ‘Painting Pool’ by Maziyar Miri and ‘Gold and Copper’ by Homayoun As’adian were screened in the Zimbabwean film festival.
