Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking on Saturday at the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, while appreciating the epic attendance of the people at the ceremony held on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution victory, Ebrahim Raisi said: "The Iranian nation showed the beauty of their love and heartfelt devotion to the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
"Referring to the rapid spread of the new coronavirus variant, Raisi stressed the need to pay serious attention to preventive measures, saying: "Simply receiving the vaccine is not enough, and public education should be provided to improve public health and to observe social distancing."
"In order to prevent the disease, we need to pay serious attention to it. The executive bodies should not insist on holding meetings and ceremonies unless necessary, and when they are held in full compliance with health protocols," he said.
Raisi highlighted: "The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) plays an important role in informing people about the pandemic and increasing public education; a single voice in giving details about the coronavirus outbreak should be published in the media, and only the spokesman of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus is responsible to give information about resolutions and decisions made by the body."
Raisi emphasized: "The Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the relevant agencies, is obliged to have full supervision over the observance of the health protocols and resolutions of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus."
