President Massoud Pezeshkian stated, "Given the necessity of solidarity among Islamic countries and with the aim of expanding comprehensive cooperation, the Islamic Republic of Iran is prepared for full-scale collaboration with the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC). Through this, we aim to open a new chapter in relations with our neighbors in the Persian Gulf region."

Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Sunday afternoon, Pezeshkian expressed his deep gratitude to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei for his wise leadership and strategic guidance during the 12-day imposed war, emphasizing, "Undoubtedly, overcoming this crisis and achieving security and stability would not have been possible without his support and direction."

The President also extended his sincere appreciation to religious authorities, scholars, prominent academic figures, intellectuals, artists, and media professionals for their unwavering support of the government and armed forces during this challenging period.

Pezeshkian further acknowledged the role of Iranians living abroad in fostering national unity and solidarity, stating, "Their deep attachment to the nation and country cannot be overlooked, and I express my gratitude and respect to them."

In another part of the meeting, the President highlighted the policy of neighborhood engagement and strengthening regional ties as a fundamental strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, one that the 14th government has prioritized.

He emphasized, "We believe the Persian Gulf is a symbol of peace and cooperation among regional countries. Strengthening Iran’s relations with its neighbors, particularly through regional institutions like the PGCC, sends a message of peace, brotherhood, and development to the entire Islamic world and the region."

During the session, cabinet members provided updates on the damages and impacts of the 12-day imposed war within their respective sectors. They also reported on the latest efforts to assist those affected, particularly in providing housing for citizens whose homes were damaged during the Zionist regime’s atrocities.
