Hamas Spokesperson Jihad Taha stated in an interview with Al-Alam TV that ongoing mediation efforts aim to halt Israeli aggression against Palestinians.

Gaza is witnessing further bloodshed as Israeli airstrikes targeted a journalists' rest area near Gaza City, killing at least 15, including journalist Ismail Abu Hatab. The attack marks another deadly incident in the ongoing conflict.

"We hope these efforts succeed in ending the violence," Taha said, condemning Israeli ongoing war crimes through "starvation policies and systematic killings" that violate international law.

Hamas called on the international community to intervene urgently, denouncing Israeli settlement expansions in the West Bank and settler violence as attempts to erase Palestinian identity.

On the ground, Palestinian fighters reported successful operations against Israeli forces.

A Zionist D9 bulldozer was destroyed in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, using an explosive barrel bomb. In a joint operation with Al-Qassam Brigades, a Merkava tank was also targeted and destroyed with a Thaqib-type explosive device.

The situation remains volatile as international mediators work to broker a ceasefire amid escalating violence.
